Not sure how this works, but I'm pretty sure if we give this guy big enough cups he can solve gasoline shortages worldwide.

    I have an explanation for the forward process (the cross sections of the glasses are ellipses, not circles and the taller ones are thinner ellipses). However, this doesn't really explain the reverse process.
